Even though my name is in my email, please do not reference me by it. I was sent to you by a friend of yours. I told him my situation, but I don't think he was really listening otherwise he would understand. I need someone to really listen and understand what I'm saying.
I'm 24 years old and all my life men have been telling me how beautiful I am and how sexy I am. As soon as I let them in though, they always disappeared. Whenever I expressed that I wanted a relationship, the relationship we had was over. I wanted and needed more than just sex. I deserved it. I needed someone to make love to me and hold me afterwards. I was so tired of crying at night as I prayed for a man.
I've found a man and I love him dearly. He comes over and stays the night whenever he can. He makes loves to me and holds me afterwards. He also tells me how much he loves me and how he wants to spend the rest of his life with me. It feels so good and sounds so good when he does and tells me these things. God knows I love him. No one except my close friends are willing to accept the fact that he's married to another woman. My close friends see how happy I am and they are happy for me regardless.
Even though he's married, it's me he truly loves. If he loved his wife and was happy with her, he wouldn't be spending nights with me as often as he could. The only reason he hasn't divorced her is because he would have to pay her lots of alimony. He makes close to $300,000 a year and he'd have to give her close to half of that money. I won't ask him to give her the money that he's earned and deserves. That would take away from him and take away from me as well. Five months ago he told me to stop working. Since then, the first week of each month he writes me a check for $5,000. If he didn't really love me, why would he do these things? On top of that, he buys me gifts and sends me cards, candy, flowers and other things. He treats me like a queen, and he's my king. I don't care that he has to sleep with her sometimes. It's me that he makes love to. He loves me and we make each other happy. Right now he's just stuck in a situation that he hasn't figured a way out of as far as the alimony. As soon as he figures that out, we'll be together all the time like we should. What's wrong with me being with a man that makes me happy? I know of his situation and I'm fine with it. Is it wrong for me to be happy? Can you understand?

Hello Dedan,
I listened to your show Thursday night and I have to admit that it opened my eyes, my mind, and heart. As I was listening to the show, I didn't even realize that my so called man was supposed to come over. I was so into the advice that you all were giving that I didn't realize until afterwards that he never showed up. He never even called to tell me he couldn't make it.
Normally I would pay it no mind and just wait for him to get back with me, but after listening to you all, I realize that he's really not mine. Even when he's with me, he's still not mine. I didn't hear from him Friday either. Saturday he showed up like nothing was wrong and I told him I wanted and needed him all to myself.
I told him that I no longer cared about how much money he has and I just want him all to myself. I asked him to leave his wife and be with me all the time. I told him how much I loved him and he laughed. He didn't just laugh, he laughed uncontrollably. Now I feel so stupid. I really was a $5,000 a month jump off. I'm so ashamed of myself.
He told me he'd be back once I got my mind right and realized what my role was. Then he left. My role?! What the hell does that supposed to mean?! I'd do anything for him. He told me he loved me. I just don't understand. I haven't heard from him since he's left and I know he's waiting for me to call him. I want to call him so badly. I really love him. He's all that I've known for over a year now. He pays all of my bills and everythign. I don't know what to do. I'm so lost right now and I feel so dumb. I thought he really loved me. What do I do?
